My Dad celebrated his 29th birthday this weekend (again). Jeff and I took the kids over Sunday afternoon and spent a nice afternoon with him and Laura. We got him a retractable airhose reel and he was very excited. The gift opening process was very stressful on the kids (I'm used to it now). Dad has this very annoying thing he does. He uses a pocket knife to very gently slice the tape so the paper does not get torn. This takes entirely too long for the spectators. After the paper is carefully removed, it then gets balled up and thrown away *sigh*.
