Yesterday Jeff and I took the kids and met Melinda, Richard & Hunter in Galveston to do some fishing. We went to the fishing pier close to 90th street on Seawall Blvd. It was raining off and on and at first the fish were not really biting. After a few hours of sitting on the wet pier, Meda and I called it a night. The boys and Melinda stuck it out and Jeff caught this huge redfish. It was 10.5 pounds, pretty nice.
Not long after Jeff caught his big one, Hunter caught a 9 pound Drum. He was very excited and from what I hear, they fried it up today and ate it. Jeff is in the process of preparing his fish to cook for supper. We'll report back how it tastes.
