We have been so blessed to not be the victems of a major hurricane. Rita 3 years ago was supposed to hit us, but she veared to the East at the last minute. We are on the western most border of the projected path with the center being over Louisiana, but we will know with a bit more certainty when he enters the Gulf on Sunday. Gas prices rose 20 cents per gallon since yesterday in anticipation of the storm. Cyndi made us reservations in New Braunsfel in the event we have to evacuate.
