The break started last Friday with Collin's Easter Party at preschool. I joined them about 3:30 for snacks and an egg hunt. They had a really cool idea to make sure that everyone got the right amount of eggs. Each child decorated a Pringles can and so only 6 standard sized eggs will fit into it!! Cool, huh?
Cupcakes, chips and jelly beans...just wait for the 4 year old sugar rush.
"I got an adur one Mom"
Check out how big Collin is...Joshua turns 4 in June!!
We enjoyed the weekend ( I got caught up on laundry). Monday we all went for the 3D ultrasound. Melinda met us there with Hunter and he came home with us. We had big plans to go to the rodeo after the ultrasound, but it took a bit longer than expected and Jeff was able to talk the kids into something a little less exhausting. We decided to go to Incredible Pizza. This is the first time that we had been there since we do not have one on our side of town. The kids had a good time! Hunter was disappointed because if you are not at least 14 years old you have to drive the go-carts on the slow speed. I must say, it is SLOW.

Collin and Hunter, too!
Collin is going so fast on the bumper cars that the picture is blurry :-)
Meda is preparing to bump.
When we got home Monday evening, Collin had a box on the front porch from his Aunt Sam. She is always so prompt with sending the kids their birthday stuff, but this year she has had several set backs. Poor woman has broken her nose and her foot (I think leg, too). I guess she is up and around because she never lets the kids down!! Collin really liked his clothes!!!
Hunter helped me get the crib together and Collin's room rearranged for all the furniture to fit. Collin's new twin bed came and the room looks good. I forgot to take a picture, but I will later. He also helped me get the swing down out of the attic. That Hunter has got a real skill for putting things together! Tuesday and Wednesday I was having to got back and forth to our friends house. They moved to California last year and I have been house-sitting while their house has been on the market. It finally has sold so the packers and movers came to do their thing and I had to be there for that. I'm happy for the Monarengs that their house has finally sold.
Thursday I promised to take the kids to Schlitterbahn in Galveston. They have a heated indoor waterpark. Before we could go I had to take Collin to the doctor for his annual check-up. The pediatrician's office has always been the most efficient. We have never had to wait more that 10 minutes past our appointment time. There's a first time for everything and that first was Thursday. His appointment was at 9 am and we didn't get finished until 10:45. Collin checked out to be healthy. He is 44 inches tall and weighs 44 pounds. The nurse said he is way off the charts for this height and 95% for his weight. Meda was the same way for her 4 year visit. He had to have 5 separate immunizations!!!! Poor kid. The doctor also wanted me to take him to the lab to have his blood drawn to check his platelets. She was worried about the amount of bruising on his body. I didn't think anything of the bruising because he is a ROUGH little boy. But she said the bruises on his legs are normal, but she didn't think it was normal to have them on his arms, back, and chin. GEEZ! I didn't have it in me to take him immediately to the lab so we went after the waterpark. The weather was beautiful and the kids had a good time. The only complaint was it was SOOO crowded. I couldn't even really take pictures because someone else's face or hiney would have been in the picture. We took a couple of pics on our way out the gate.
