Yesterday Cyndi and I took the kids downtown to see the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kick-off parade. We drove to the Metro Park and Ride station and rode the light rail all the way into downtown. It was very convenient because the train let us off one block east of the parade route. We arrived there early enough to get a very good spot. The kids helped me take these pictures.
After the parade we went to Texas Roadhouse for a nice lunch. We had a great day. The rodeo starts tomorrow so I will post pictures after we go!
