Masuda Wedding Cruise

Finally...Melinda and Richard tied the knot. It was a beautiful affair and the cruise was pretty fun, too. Melinda looked so pretty in her dress. Meda was the flower girl and Collin was the oh so handsome ring bearer. The ceremony was short and sweet. Me and Jeff along with the kids went on the cruise. Jeff's parents, Cyndi and E.D. went as well. It was nice to see my Mom and Doug, it has been quite a while. Dad and Laura were in charge of Hunter, though he managed to be in charge of himself for most of the cruise. Boy is he growing up.
The kids had a lot of fun on the cruise, but Meda was quite surprised at how HOT Mexico was. Our first stop was Progresso and as we walked up the dock to the cruise terminal, Meda asked, "Why is it so hot in Mexico?" I replied, "because its closer to the equator". She was satisfied with that response. I'm sure she will tell all her friends in kindergarten. We went to a beach outside of Progresso at a resort, it was beautiful. Jeff and I took the kids on a "water weanie" ride. Pappa did some snorkeling and Mimi and I kind of just lounged on the beach. In Cozumel Pappa decided to stay onboard while Jeff, Mimi, the kids and I rented a Jeep and explored the island. We went to Chankanaab Park for some snorkeling. Meda took very well to it. I was very impressed at how much she loved it. We were caught off guard by an afternoon shower, but considering how hot it was it was a welcome reprieve.
Cruising proved to be a fun vacation to take the kids on, we'll have to do it again.
